Hankook S1 Evo tyres in the wet
I've been running the tyres for about six months now and have been very pleased with them as a max performance tyre. What's really made me happy had been the performance in the wet.
Where I live there's been two weeks of heavy rain leaving large amounts of standing and flowing water over the road. While I acknowledge the impact suspension can have in the circumstances, the way the rubber seems to bite in and disperses the water to prevent aqua-planing has been superb. |

Glad to hear you like them. I'm thinking about getting myself a set. Not sure if I'm going to get them now or next spring since we're going into winter. But I'm always concerned with how tires hold up in the wet.
Can you corner hard in the wet with them? |

I've pushed them at sub-track speeds during a motorkhana event and found they had good feedback, so I had a fair idea of when they'd let go. For the most part unless you're being very ham-fisted with the wheel or lead-footed the grip was good.
A wet track-day opportunity was missed recently otherwise I could give you some feedback from it. |
