Curious about PCD...

Hello All,
So i plan on buying a 128i in the spring, once the nasty Northeast winter has passed ( I live in New Jersey). I'm very intersted in opting for the Performance Center Delivery, but there is something the BMWUSA.com site does not make clear...

If i opt for the PCD, does that remove the "Destination & Handling" fee? I hope it does, considering it'd be rather foolish for them to charge me around $800 to ship it to my local dealer, when I'd be spending a nice chuck of money to fly down to South Carolina and then the cost of driving the car back up to NJ my self.

If anyone could shed some light on this subject for me, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

The destination & handling still applies even if you do a PCD. They still have to bring the car from Europe

Yup, all cars will have the destination fee no matter what, it's mostly the cost of shipping the car overseas. You'll pay more by traveling down to the performance center then gas on the way back. If you're going for cheap, I'd just have the car sent to your dealer.

I HIGHLY suggest it, both my girlfriend and I both loved the entire experience. Not to mention, she was excited about the free bag of coffee
