you find it for corner balancing, of course! when we brought back new wheels after fitting tires and balancing, one of the weights felled off ) and we've put it in arch, like reminder |

guys, how much 135i or 1m weight from factory?
we check our e82 on scales - 1380kgs (3042lb) with about 40ltrs (10,5 gallons) of fuel. 54/46 f/r balance. i was sure that we can get less, but i didn't know starting figures. if i calculated correct, s65 weighs about 30 kilograms more, than n54 + we have 60 kilos rollcage. |

Amazing build, how did you get rid of the internal battery sensor (IBS) when installing the braille battery?

new underbody shields arrived and were fitted today and you can see on pic middle part of exhaust with x-pipe. i've made custom exhaust for our config, straight pipes from headers, x-pipe and some medium size mufflers at the end. stainless steel, 2x2.5 inch. |

ya know, I've always said you don't really own it till you've taken it apart and put it back together again....
but, damn, this is some full race car business right here! Thanks for publishing your work! Way much more impressive than I expected when I started reading this post! Very cool

Awesome project and kudos for the all the effort put into it!
Have you thought about a replacement Carbon fibre roof panel to save alittle more weight?

i've thought about another upgrades (lightweighting) and next 50 kilos cost a lot more money per kg. after next 50 kilos... i think that this car will not look like the car, like it looks in this moment, so i'd prefer not to cross this line. this car is really fast at this moment - fast on the straight, and a lot faster on track and, which most important - very nice fast! it controls very accurate and easily. like said one of good pilots after one session on our e82 - it looks like you drive slowly, but same time you understand that it's really fast. that is what i like to get from cars - really good car gives you confidence in driving. exactly this thing was missed in our previous version of our e82 with n54 - you accelerate only to 130 miles and you think "wow, what a huge speed (cause you got mountain of torque in your back), how fast i already rides" and you already want to take off your leg from the pedal. on our present car, you want to revving up engine higher and higher, over 8k rpm every gear and you understand that "it looks like i'm driving fast already" only when you get a lot more then 155mph on speedo and all things moves really quickly past you |
