My New Le Mans Blue 135
Finally after a 3 month wait picked her up on Tuesday...
Some pics here after a wash.... Loving it, planning a nice long drive this weekeed to hurry along the running in. Loving the colour, so glad I didn't change my mind to Space Grey although that does look nice also. |

Looking good! The LeMans Blue really does impress in person, doesn't it?
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one with a little towel in the door pocket.

Just looked back at pics.....its covered in flies! They seem to love the Megs gold class wax I used....like the proverbial flies around s**t as soon as I put it on....
Thanks for kind words...oh yes otterdoc, that little towel is essential for keeping the inside spic and span..hate that build up of dust and general 'stuff' you can get coating everything |

Love le Mans blue
You’re breaking my heart, Harry. Well, almost. The first 1er I saw in the flesh—November of 2007—was a le Mans blue 123d at the BMW showroom in Park Lane. I was disappointed to learn the color (please excuse my American spelling) was not then available in the States. Maybe next time.
And best of luck with your lovely ride.

Looks ace Harry, your about 3 weeks ahead of me on delivery. I order mine on the 23rd of June. Not long now.
Love the colour! I will be sharing your idea with the running in period. I fancy a monster drive somewhere. Might nip into france for a few days |

Its flashpoint / sensatec Add1ct. The basic interior in the UK, cloth with leather (or may even be fake leather) sides.
Feels great have to say, just don't like full leather - now alcantara would have been something I'd have wanted. |

Yea I think sensatec is the same as leatherette for us, I just wish they'd give that to us here. I don't understand why they think americans will only like leather or fake leather

Thanks for kind words.....it already getting me in trouble with the missus!
http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=299583 So you don't get a cloth option in the states Add1ct? Thats crazy, my seats are so comfortable, love em...have to say hate leather with a passion...too slippy, too noisy, too hot (in summer), too cold (in winter) - do look great though I guess |

Hey theres plenty of revenue raising cops here too....you just need to keep em peeled! No but honestly the kind of roads in the pics the limit is 60, kinda tough to go way beyond that because they are so twisty and I always stick to the 30 limits through the small towns/villages any way.
In fact there are some locals who I couldn't keep up with - in like 'ordinary' cars, one was a old (and pretty battered) daewoo something or other, couldn't keep with him....local knowledge counts for a lot for sure - boy did he(or she) fly along...I thought in theory I should be able to stick with him at least before thinking better of it and backing off....roads were tight and slippery and they obviously knew them really well. |
