Yet another sunglasses polarizer fix...
I was about to go buy non-polarized perscription sunglasses because of the radio display issue. So I read the post about the overhead projector film.
It just so happens that we just bought a Kindle Fire (tablet) and bought a package of screes protectors (comes with 3 protectors). I took one of the spares and held it up to the display with my polarized sun glasses and it worked. I measure the opening (1.5cm X 15.5cm), cut the film with the 2 sheets still together to protect the adhesive and I left a small tab at one end (to help peel it off later if need be). I then just followed the instructions for applying the film and it is not noticeable. Since the protective film is meant to be replaced, on tablets, it sticks just enough knowing that it can be easily removed and there are no bubbles. It also has some anti-glare properties (coming from all those tablet accessories design geeks). Just my '02 cents worth. RonR |

You can buy "project sheets" by the sheet at your local Staples. I did this but wasn't really satisifed with the results. So I will try this new idea. Still can't believe BMW did this!!
