Front Sway Bar - 135i
I have a stock 2011 135i(N55) and I have driven it now for approximately a year. I have noticed that it sways a lot in corners and I was wondering if adding a UUC front sway bar would stop the sway and improve my handling?
Also has anyone else done this same thing? How did it turn out? |

I cannot comment on the UUC front sway. I have had my car for the same time you have and recently replaced my front sway with a M3 front sway. Contact Dan @UnitedBMW.
It is the only mod I've done thus far. It seems that the M3 or Hotchkiss sway is the best bet. And the cheapest 1st mod I'd imagine. As far as handling, it improved initial turn-in. The car is still floaty. Gotta upgrade if you want that feeling to go away. It's a great first step. Get the M3 sway, miiipilot

if you're not going to track your car and its only a daily driver get the m3 vert swaybar. it was the single best mod i did for the street. it made the car worse at the track but everythings a trade off and usually pushes you toward more mods to fix new "issues" with the car.

If you want something thicker than the M3 bar, go with the Hotchkis bar. The 1 series UUC bar is garbage.. and I've had UUC swaybarbarians on my last 3 BMWs. It doesn't fit right and hits the LCA or the steering linkage on bumps.

I drive fairly conservative and not that fast all the time, but i do have my moments LOL..I would hate to hurt someone or myself speeding so i am careful and enjoy my car at modest speeds most of the time... but driving on the twisties in Pa...my car feels planted and NOT floaty...It had a tad of this stock but with the M3 E93 bar it has improved to the point that i am content. If i was tracking the car that would be another story but for a DD i have no complaints..
