Clear coat peeling: wheel well area

Anybody else had this happen? The clear coat on the small painted pieces on my rear wheel wells is peeling off. Taking it to the dealer on Monday to get fixed. It should be fixed under warranty, but I will update then.

Just FYI, the dealer told that "paint in the wheel well is not covered under warranty."

I am looking into this further.

Any input?

Edit: It appears they meant to communicate that there is no specific "wheel well paint warranty" and they need me to bring it in to inspect and decide what to do.

Have to wait to Friday now. They set my appt. on Monday but the Service Manager was not in to tell me what could be covered...

Looks like maybe that area was resprayed and the clear is now failing? 2nd owner of the car?

Believe it or not, I am the only owner and the car had around 14,700 miles when this started.

Edit: Confirming that these areas have not been repainted.

Good call! I called the body shop that fixed a scratch on my bumper, and it turns out they repainted the whole bumper. Covered under their warranty.
