Clear coat peeling: wheel well area
ISSUE RESOLVED / Non-BMW related
Anybody else had this happen? The clear coat on the small painted pieces on my rear wheel wells is peeling off. Taking it to the dealer on Monday to get fixed. It should be fixed under warranty, but I will update then. Last edited by afisherunc; 06-14-2013 at 12:59 PM.. |

Just FYI, the dealer told that "paint in the wheel well is not covered under warranty."
I am looking into this further. Any input? |

Edit: It appears they meant to communicate that there is no specific "wheel well paint warranty" and they need me to bring it in to inspect and decide what to do.
Updates on Monday. |

Have to wait to Friday now. They set my appt. on Monday but the Service Manager was not in to tell me what could be covered...
