Has anyone experimented with a 265/30R19 F, 295/30R19 R combo on the stock wheels yet? In PSS's or otherwise.

I thought about it, but don't like running with that short a sidewall on city streets.

Damn, my rears are corded after two sessions of autocross, and it's really tempting to order Super Sports in those sizes.....

I might just do it for the benefit of the community.

I corded my front left Toyo R888 this weekend while on track and will be mounting up my Michelin PSS in their place.

I'll be running them in the One Lap of America and might as well start feeling them out on track.

It looks like a track event thinly disguised as an autocross. The person setting up the course (Andy Hollis) says he is only using about 12 cones and those include the start and finish gates, so it should be interesting. So, I'm thinking this might be a good time to try out the RS-3s and see how they feel on the track. I may change my entry to the 1M.

Hmm this is somewhat tempting.. but I may have to work..

I did just sign up for 3/31 at HHR

So I'm signed up to do a DE at Atlanta MotorSports Park at the end of April. My car is lowered with Moton (DA) Super Sports and I need some staggered 18's that are aggressive but won't rub. I've read this thread backwards and forwards and can't seem to find mention of a setup that works with a lowered 1M. I'm thinking Nitto NT-01's as I want to be able to drive on the street also. (AMP is about 1 hour from home) I'm not 100% on that tire but I've had good luck with them as an intermediate on the race car. What wheel width and offset has been proven to work well on the 1M without rubbing? Oh, I'm not running camber plates as the car is 99% street driven so it's not as though I can crank out a bunch of negative camber up front. I'm thinking 9.5 front and 10.5 rear but don't want to make a big mistake. Thanks in advance.

I am going with th Hankook for autox also. Our local group is now banning r compound from stock classes. I need the 180 wear of a "street tire". You can't beat the price. Especially if one needs winter, summer AND autox tires.

Looks Nice Harold!
I'm looking at using similar tires. Any rubbing?

Bet that thing was gripping damn good! That's almost exactly what I ordered but I'm trying to fit Pilot Super Sports on stock wheels.

Eventually I'll find some really light/lighter wheels for Autocross + the Ground Control camber plates and I want to try those sizes in Hoosier A comps. A freshly worn in set offers insane amounts of traction! Coming from my experience with a C5 Z06.

Hi all I'm just getting into HPDEs. This might be a stupid question but do people run this staggered setup 18x9 in the front and 18x10 in the rear?

That is a good alternative to the oem 19 wheels.

Pretty sure the 265/35 up front will rub, there is very little clearance to begin with (some folks had to replace their wheel well liner even on stock PS2 tires), and the PSSs are a lot chunkier. I thin some folks have said even the 255/35 rub at full lock

I'm running 265/35-18 in front and it clears, but just barely.
