Hi There, I Need Help:
Can I Install In The Rear 255/35/18.
I Mean Front 215/40/18
Rear 255/35/18
I Ask This Because My Shop Tell Me Something About The Diference Betwen The Two Tires Can Affect The Diferential And I Dont Know If Thats True

Pure Bullshit. I ran two sets of that size rear tire on my OEM rims. You might want to go a little wider up front, 225/40/18s are typical matchup for that rear tire. Lots of us on here did it or are doing it.

You may increase wear on the diff/trans slightly due to the increase in traction but that is not whats going to directly cause a failure IMO.

If you like to power brake the shit out of your car, the diff will explode eventually no matter what tire you run...

135i is a robust platform thusfar...guys are running 11 second 1/4 miles with stock differentials and drag radials...I havent heard of a diff grenade yet but shit does happen.

Go for it bro. Thats my opinion, and most of us on here will agree.

Here is a pic of my car running Dunlop Dirrezza Z1 Star Specs. 255/35/18 rear 225/40/18 up front.


Suggestion: Never have one shop...opinions are like assholes.

thanks for the soon answer friends, sorry for my english i live in colombia, and we have a drag race this sunday and my tires are done

mi car is a 135i N55-jb4 stage 2-AR cattless DP- ER intercooler, injen intake,AA catback, im very happy with the car.
