Sport Pkg - Oil Cooler Update

My SA is confident that the Sport Pkg does add a second oil cooler to the 135i.

"...it does come with the extra oil cooler w/ sport pkg"

Good job, Chris cause I think this car needs it. So, are you now gonna add sport pac to your order? You better decide soon before they change the status of your order.

I asked my SA if the 1er sport seats are the same as the 3's. If he reply's yes I will go to the dealer tonight and try them out if he has one in stock.

^ Cool. I don't think the sport seats are uncomfortable-- at least the ones in my 330ci and the 335is I test drove a few months ago were very comfortable.

The sports seats are more comfortable than the standard seats. Much more support plus the thigh support comes in handy for long trips. If you are going to replace them with your own seats than not an issue.

Sport seats are a must, unless you're pretty big around the gut (and who isn't a little full around there), then it may be a little tight.

So it's a second oil cooler we're all looking for? I thought it either had one or didn't. Do all N54's have a least one oil cooler?

We need to see if the 2nd oil cooler comes with both the Auto/Sport Package & Manual/Sport Package, or just with the Manual/Sport Package.

If this is the case, why is it not mentioned in the specs. I'd think BMW would be in store for a lawsuit if they didn't mention that there was a second oil cooler in the sports package, when it doesn't say anything anywhere about it.

I definitely want to get this thing right when ordering this car, and i just hope the BMW website is giving me all the info possible. The sports pack is a real big ?. When i ordered my car without the sports pack, my SA was like "I guess you don't want the 18's then, cause you need the sports pack for that." It took him 15 minutes to finally get enough confirmation that they come standard without the sports package.

A lawsuit for possibly including features that increase safety and reliability without informing you? LOL, that's a good one.

Seriously, if you have a problem with overheating or going into limp mode, just take it into the dealer and have them fix it. I'm not going to fuss over it before we even know if these cars have a problem with overheating.
