So, just recieved at midday the set of 18" VB3 in 8.5" front and 9.5" rear by UPS
The 9.5" rear is very large : And the concavity is soooo sick too : A pic of the little family : I've recieved the front tires this morning too : Hankook Ventus V12 in 225/40/18. The rear tires are in Germany, I can't stand waiting for them ! It will be the same product but in 255/35/18 . I hope they will be good and performance tire ! Edit : I didn't want to do just a teaser like ulrichd or BFD99 thought ;-) |

I just get excited and want to see at least something that's a teaser, not just a box, ya know, it was just a big let down, posting the wheels would have been what i was looking for. Thanks for posting those!

Yep, so it may be hard for me sometimes ...
They are ET40 front and ET45 rear bro' . What was the price you could have ? 'Cause I paid them 1615$ (1230) with UPS transport (and 4 ///M stickers ) ... The price here in Europe is very high and these wheels aren't very available. Thanks ! I hope the color will match with the rest of the car I just receive the rear tires today at 8:30am ! I will mount them today or tomorrow afternoon, but before, the car need to be washed ! Moreover, I think I would buy some spacers for my winter set of wheels next winter ... |

I've only driven few kilometers with my new set of wheels and I found the tires very impressive : as much grip as my previous PZero (RF), compfortable too ! And I don't rub !
Here are the pics ;-) : What do you guy think :-) ? Edit : I forgot this little one : Last edited by Fidiman; 04-14-2012 at 10:47 AM.. |

I agree with you and think that wheels are an important part of styling in a car Quote:
For the moment there's no rubbing, I'm on stock suspension. I didn't try to load the trunk of car ... I should do it . I go on bumps on road very slowly too that's perhaps why wheels didn't rub |

I know I should lower it but I'm frightened to the idea of rubbing and doing some fender rolls. Yesterday, I charged the hood with almost 100kg and the rear lowered from 34.5cm to 33.5cm (13.58" to 13.19" so -0.39 inches) from the center axle of the wheel to the body of the car (verticaly) and I found it realy better like that. The front of the car is 35.5cm (13.98") hight ... What should I do ? I saw : - Eibach Pro Kit springs (-15mm or 0.59") - BMW Performance springs (here wich lower the car 1.27cm front and 1.91cm rear or 0.5/0.75") but I think it will be too lowered - BMW Performance complete suspension kit (-1.00cm or 0.39") which would be perfect but expensive Like I previously said, I'm very frightened about rubbing and lowering the car, charging hood (when I go in holidays for exemple) and rubbing ...
