HP Autowerks, Inc. Front tension rod kit

Upgrade your soft stock 135/335 tension rods with a new set with a much stiffer bushing. Get your 135/335's handling characteristics and suspension/steering feedback a little closer to the M3. These are a direct bolt in replacement.

Alignment recommended after intalling the rod kit.

Price is $249.22 for the tension rod kit

You may place your order here:

http://www.hpashop.com/category.sc?categoryId=113

If you need more info on what these set of tension rods will do for you, please refer to this thread:

This is great information; good job on the research!

Question: Can we get upgraded rear bushings? I see the E90 guys are using the rear subframe bushings and on my E46 these made a huge difference.

Yes, the bushings do work on the E82 as well!

You can now order the tension rod kit, lower wishbone, and the subframe bushing kit from our web store.

Yes except you need to realign the wheels right after you've installed the front pieces.

Just did the wishbones and tension rods and the feeling is amazing. Much stiffer and precise.

From my understanding, your alignment will be off when you put these pieces in and is highly recommended that you get it aligned immediately.

Edit: I think it is the wishbones that throw your alignment out of wack.

Hey Harold, how about doing a Group Buy on these? I think that you'd clear stock if you did.

And I wonder how many people would be interested in a GB of the tension rod kits?

If I can get 3+ people, I can knock off another 5%, at 5+ I'll do 10%. Feight will be extra.

Same here - all or nothing

Ugh if I get the kit, this would be the fourth time I purchased something from you in 30 days Harold.
