Is the Riss Racing/BMS/aFe intakes, their all open air filter intakes, right? Is there a danger of having those intakes with an open hood in heavy rain?

The filters would have to be submerged to pull in enough water to harm the engine. I would venture to guess that you get just as much air\water from under the car and thru the vents as you would with the slotted hood. I personally am not the slightest bit concerned.

Bingo, we've run open hood vents on E46s and now the E92 on daily drivers and it's never been an issue. The E46 had both an open air intake and a supercharger (replaced the intake). Our E92 is running the aFe Dual Cone intake.

I really like the bigger vents of C, but i think it would look better if the eyelid part of the hood extended more outward to go flush with the end of the hood, it may cover a part of the light, but it will look a lot more polished and complete of a look

That's a good call, but I worry about the liability of selling a hood that covers the lights, you know?

Can we please see an accurate photoshop first? I'm worried that it looks awkward hanging over the front... Sorry if there was already one out there that I missed..

I think I like it, its subtle but definitely looks more aggressive. I will start saving my pennies if this thing is really moving forward...
