Did you ever get this resloved? I'm finally getting around to installing mine and the Austin dealership is feeding me the exact same line. Is there any service message I can refer to with this dealership? I don't mind installing the alarm first but I will if they jump the price from $150 to $360 on an issue that was already known by me.
