Cracked 128i Bumper!

I was walking to my car yesterday and realized someone had to back up into my car because the rear bumper piece(under the trunk lid and licence plate) was cracked with a small dent. I dont want to report this to my insurance. Eventhough they will cover it, my car will be put down as if it has been in an accident and my insurance might rise.

So my question is where can i find the same exact bumper to replace it and can i replace it with the stock 135i bumper???

Thanks,

Ash

yes, you can replace it with a stock 135i bumper. Talk to your BMW SA.

Try PDR. . .It's cheaper and better than a complete. . .

Bumper replacement. PDR is paintless dent repair. They can estimate whether they can do it for the damage you have and usually costs between 150-500 dollars. It's a lot less than 1000-2000 for a bumper replacement.

Does bumper count as an engine/performance upgrade. Wrong forum section.

Not sure how your insurance company works (or how insurance law is in Florida, I assume shitty because it's the USA and the insurance companies enjoy screwing people), but my insurance company doesn't make me pay a deductible and doesn't find me at fault (which means my premiums cannot legally go up) if I file a police report within 24 hours. That's what I did last week when someone hit my bumper and didn't leave any information.
