So I've only experienced one more incident of the dashboard error lights and it was the morning following replacing the battery (Thursday morning to be precise). I've started/stopped and driven the car a number of times since then and it hasn't re-occured. Also, I ordered the Carly for BMW adapter a few days after this problem originally started and it came in the mail yesterday. Found a couple of codes that seem related to signal loss to some of the affected systems that were complaining...maybe signal loss due to low voltage?

Going to be away from the car for a while but when I come back if there are still no issues going to chalk all the symptoms up to a dying battery.

Carly report below, will clear the codes when I'm near the car next, drive it for a bit and re-run the report:

Problem still not fully resolved. No more Christmas tree dashboard lights but the car stalled in traffic this morning while in neutral and through a CEL. Started the car again but got the long cranks on the way as before. Pulled over to a parking lot, plugged in my BMW Carly adapter and pulled the following codes:

Engine / Motor:
- Fault: Power Management
- Code: 002DEC
- Fault: Crankshaft sensor
- Code: 002A94

These were present before. I did some research and I'm thinking the engine timing is off because the crankshaft position sensor is going wonky. What do you guys think? Really hope its not the camshaft bearing

Should be fine now. Keep us posted. Enquiring minds want to know.
Stalling engine, long cranks, engine surge during driving, all continued after changing the battery. Cleared all codes, kept getting code 2A94 consistently.

Changed the crank shaft position sensor last week and so far car is driving smooth with no more problems.

Don't remember exactly but I don't think I had that many warnings all lit up and cycling through different displays. Your situation looks different. Did you try pulling a code or load testing your battery? Any long cranks, stalls or other changes in how the car drives?

The issue that I've seen with this is that the care drive linda loose. Not as strong as it was before while holding the high speed. It feels that I don't have that much balance anymore.
