Last inspection before warranty is up, what to look for?
My warranty is up next week and I want to do a quick inspection before I decide if I want to get the extended coverage.
I'll have access to a lift tomorrow, what should I look for? Any inspection guides? I'm mostly concerned about the dct leaking but anything else? Car is a 2013 135is with DCT 32k miles. It's had a dealer oil change a couple months back so I'd hope theyd let me know if they saw anything but id like to review myself. Thanks yah. Last edited by rovsky; 06-02-2017 at 06:26 PM.. |

My warranty is almost up as well. I'm taking my car in tomorrow. Fortunately I had an adaptive headlight error come up recently so that should get covered before it expires. I will have the dealer check out the car for any other hidden gremlins.

I have till sept on factory warranty ..
went to the dealer for a once over.. no codes keep in mind,, and they found the oil lines to my turbo leaking and charge pipe loose almost disconnected with the o ring missing.. soo yea.. I would tell em you have waste gate rattle.. wich will send em looking at ur turbo.. and also decrease in power on acc decc.. my 2 cents
