Windshield tint? Clear or dark?

Does anyone have their windshield tinted? I have been reading how even a clear ceramic tint can help absorb some rays and prevent some interior fade/ heat.
Was wondering if you guys think it's worth it to get either a clear or say 90-95% on the windshield?

I hear ya, also illegal here but the clear tint is said to absorb some infra red light and protect interior as well. I've read about some people doing it and was wondering if anyone has actually seen a difference

I have 80% Huper Optik ceramic on my front windshield. Cuts down the heat significantly.

My fiancee and I have 3M Crystalline tint (70%) on both our cars and it's a great product - cuts down interior temp in S. FL sun. My car has black leather interior... and I can get in my car, sit and drive off without worrying about 3rd degree burn to my hands on steering wheel and legs on seat. She has CR and same thing. I was pulled over at night one time and the cops didn't notice it.

If you're in S FL... I highly recommend AutoSuperShield in Boca. They do clear bra, full tint and wrap. Tell them Chris with yellow boxster sent you.

I have my windshield tinted at 50%, and everything else at 35. Looks real sharp and isn't hard to see at all, wouldn't do it any other way.
