I went by United BMW as well to see the CF interior which I liked but didn't know about the leather CF. I guess I need to go back and take a look at that. It will be nice to see what the price difference might be.

I went by United BMW and looked at the CF interior which I liked. It looks just like the other CF parts they offer. However, now that I know a CF leather might be available I'll have to go back and check it out.

From what I can tell from the pictures, it does not look the same as the Carbon Leather. The Carbon Leather is a very tight flat weave.

I'm pretty sure they raise the cows with carbon fiber enclosures on them, so that their skin actually grows like that. No.. these are not stamped leather. :wink:

after reading this thread i had to see if for myself so i went to the dealership today and must agree with tkbr0wn it def looks like a weave and i cant wait for an aftermarket company to produce it!
