Nice job!! They look great. I may have to get some springs now too. I like how yours if just a tad lower than mine. Hey, on a side note, due to freakishly cold weather here in Cali I was just wondering if you've happened to see the little snow flake symbol pop up. I got in mine at 7am yesterday and it was 34 degrees and right above the temp was a snow flake. I just thought it was funny. My car was like, "Dude, its ah...um...f@#king cold" Its probably the last time i'll see that symbol for the rest of the time I own the car.

Thanks for the comments. It never got below 42degrees here in my neck of the woods in San Diego.

I finally got them on and took some pics when the weather cleared!

Believe it or not, despite the lower profile tires the car runs much smoother than before. The ride was stiffer with the stock run flats. I suppose because of the wider wheels and more aggressive tread pattern the car tracks more on the road and more road noise can be heard in the cabin but it doesn't bother me much. Very happy with the outcome and I'm sure wheel spacers will be next....
very nice. they look so much like the maya stm.

very nice set up! Indeed, mesh type wheels are the best looking for our cars IMO

OK guys I know that most you like the mesh type rims on the E90; I saw this one on wheelmax.com and I want your feedback and opinions on it.
My take is that they are relatively cheap; they look clean; and look easy to maintain.

You will need to get some 15mm spacers for the rear. I put them on w/o and the 19x9.5+38 offset is just a tiny bit wider than stock, which is no good. The pictures I posted are with the spacers on, so you can judge for yourself. There are no spacers on the front. Just imaging the rear wheels setting in a little more than a 1/4 inch w/o the spacers. I think you'll be ordering them soon thereafter.
Why do your wheels look different than nine4surfah's? Yours seem more like aluminum, and his seem more chrome-like. Is it just the camera or are these different wheels?

Yes they are hyper black as oppose to the hyper "light" silver that gallo has.

Sorry man, but this design doesn't look good. If you don't like mesh type, go for hamman or milano replica:

I really like the design and look of these wheels. I was considering getting 18's but 19's look awesome. How have they held up? I spoke with a guy at wheelmax and they told me they discontinued them because they damage easily. Also, what are the weight of the rims?

"damage easily"? So far I haven't had any issues with these wheel and I hope I dont encounter on having any in the future. I havent weighed the wheels but they did feel slightly heavier than the stock 16" wheel that was previously on.

nine4surfah, did you mount the rims yourself of did you have a tire center do it for you? I was just curious what parts you need to mount them. Do they require hub rings or are they just mounted straight? I was not sure if they were hubcentric or lugcentric wheels.

The wheels are "hubcentric" and fit perfectly on the hub and I installed the wheels myself.

Can you tell me the centerbore of the rims you have? I was told 73mm but when I called HPDesign in FL they said they are 74mm. I figure since they own the web site they would know more but everyone I spoke with say they are 73mm. I was wondering if since the bore on the car is 72.56mm I could use center rings to make sure they are a perfect fit.

I know it is less than 0.5mm but my car seems to shake a bit once I pass 70+. I was wondering if it was due to the wheels not fitting perfectly centered. I don't have any pull to the side and don't think the alignment needs redoing since I have less than 3k miles. How does your car handle at higher speeds and did you have any issues with your wheels? I was able to get the rings ordered from the company that shipped my wheels but I figured I would mount them without it for now since they were so close in size. I think once the rings come in I will try that and then go for high-speed balancing if that doesn't correct the problem.

As far as Know the e90 center bore is 72.56 in Diameter and I don't know what the center bore is on the HP Wheels. But they do fit and I don't have problems with vibration at any speeds. I do however have an issue with "tramlining". My car tends to pull to the right at hig speeds and from what I was told tramlining is in issue with tire threads.
