Full STU build:
AST Coilover Camber Plates 18x10's with 285's Race Seats Anti-Roll bars CAI For right now, probably just a second set of wheels to allow the mounting of R-Comps on the stockers to remain legal in A Stock. Probably toe the front out a little and the rear in a little. Just depends on the amount of over steer in the car. The R-Comps will probably work best with neutral toe. Max caster and camber with oem parts on the car. Lots of fine tuning.

My current power mods are being transferred to my 1M.
JB4 + Speed Delimiter (Maximize power and speed) HPF FMIC (Increased cooling capacity) Stett Charpepipe w/HKS SSQV BOV (I like the sound and throttle response) BSH Oil Catch Can (Keep the oil where it belongs) AR Catted Downpipes (I don't want my new 1M smelling like ass) CDV - Removal (Don't want jerky shifts) Huber Optiks Tint (I want to keep the black leather cool in the summer) Spoiler Delete (I prefer the look) Any other ideas will come in due time. I don't plan on tracking it but I do like to have the power on reserve.

I am leaving my Stock.
I have Moded several of my cars over the years, the last being my first STi. Then I removed all mods to sell the car and realized how much better the car road and drove. This and the fact that the 1M will be a rare classic IMO I choose not to Molest this car.

Not a lot for some time, little bit of cosmetic changes to make it how we want it to look without taking away from the oem looks i.e. carbon boot spoiler, black kidney grills, black side indicators and smoked chrome for the wheels..........it ain't going to be a track day car as I have already built one with cage, harnesses, massive stoppers, sticky rubber and so on plus London roads are congested and crap so need something with a little bit of comfort as my OPC is hard and harsh and is suited to the track rather than city roads.
Its going to be more the misses car so I am at her mercy what I can actually do (tuning wise) other than paying for the car and cleaning it |

VentureShield ppf
Helix intercooler CDV delete Berk Technology resonated midpipe (maybe) P3 Vent Gauge v2 (maybe) Already have some 18" wheels (ARC-8) and PFC01 pads that I'll run on the track. Were it not for warranty, I'd also consider a tune like the Vishnu Procede with PWM methanol injection kit and a dci air filter. Neil Last edited by MDORPHN; 07-27-2011 at 09:20 AM.. |

So, I guess the limiter can be removed with tune.

The fastest I have had my 135i go was about 172mph.* I'm pretty sure it would work the same. *Professional Driver on a closed course.

I will be enjoying the car stock... but not by choice - I fear if I even bring up the idea of modifying the car, my wife might kill me
