I bought it used and it had a bunch of surface scratches and the back bumper and been backed into a post. I thought well my favorite color is green and they don't make them in a green....Yea I am trying to get a photographer to get some pics for me

That was just Eibach Pro-kit springs on M-Sport shocks. I increased the lateral rigidity with M3's ARB's, bushes and arms but that did nothing to the ride height.
I always meant to swap the M-Sport shocks out for Bilstein B8's (making the B12 kit) which would have given me another 5mm (due to shortened shock) or B14 coilover's for full height control but, I never got round to it as I made an impulse decision to buy a C63 Coupe. Alas the 135i went up for sale and was sold withing 24hrs of advertisement so, I didn't have time to think really, hence no further pics since these. All I'll say is that these springs were a great improvement vs. M-Sport springs but, they didn't come into their own until I swapped the rear subframe bushings and ARB's. The damping from the M-Sport shocks was ok, but not something I planned to live with had I kept it longer. |
