I received a screen shot from the stock controller showing 'exit factory' on the itinerary. much like the screenshot you posted earlier in this thread.

MDM on is fine. Just remember to only squeeze and expect your tail to come out .

Yes, always remember when you are in the wet your tail will come out even on a small curve when WOT in 2nd.

It is scary when I was heading towards the median strip one morning and the keep left sign.

However, everything on means your engine power just keep getting cut all the time.

I am the direct opposite Ian..

The first thing I do, once the car is started, is press the M button..Never drive without it ON..

The MDM is weather dependent... Wet roads and I dont touch..
Dry roads and MDM is activated..

Who in their right mind will drive WOT in 2nd around a bend in the wet..

Half throttle or less and your tail comes out regardless..

Thanks mate, will watch out.
You did 7000+km in how many 135i months? but you have already done 4000+km in 2+ 1M months

Guilty - when I first got the 1M, a car decided to accelerate in front of me merging into the pickup lane which I was already on while he should have give way. Decided that I was not going to have any bar of it and go WOT. I would have been fine with the 135i. Ended up going sideways for a little bit facing the ditch. Losing vision on the other car was a bit scary.

Learnt my lesson that day. .

I wish i had this skill

I know I know... hearing you guys . Again, driving the car like I was on the 135i. MDM on the 1M behaves very differently to DTC mode on the 135i.

Love to meet Advevo. He is awesome.

I have the e-copy of the 1M supplementary manual.

Does anyone has an e-copy of the AUS 1 Series owners manual? 2011 or 2012 would be ideal.

Thanks

Waiting for my 1M

Hi everyone,

Just thought to introduce myself. I've been driving an Audi RS4 for the last 5 years and just ordered a replacement, 1M AW (one of the last few orders available in Aus). It will be built in June for Sept-Oct delivery.

Been reading up on the 1M and I'm very excited. RS4 has been a great car but the 1M will be much more fun. I will miss the noise my RS4 makes though, natural aspirated V8 sound is intoxicating.

Look forward to meet up with Sydney siders 1M owners in the near future.

Cheers,
QT
