panic button

Do we have a panic button on the 1 series? If so how do we activate it?

From p25 of 2009 non-i-Drive manual, emphasis added:

"Panic Mode

"You can trigger the alarm system if you find yourself in a dangerous situation.

"Press the [trunk opening] button for at least three seconds.

"To switch off the alarm: press any button."

Ergo, I also conclude, no alarm system installed == no panic button.
