Full 3.5" EXHAUST!!!!

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Hello everyone, I am doing a group buy-in if anyone is interested. I have reached out to a local Hot-Rod/performance shop here in Wisconsin and asked if they would make me a full 3.5" SS exhaust, like the one previously produced by horsepower freaks for my N54 single turbo 135i build. I have used this company before when they made a side exit exhaust for a 91 mr2 turbo I use to have and there work is absolutely flawless, so I was thinking to myself how I see people post up all the time looking to buy used HPF exhaust and thought I should test the waters to see if anyone would be interested in this as well. They have agreed to make as many as needed using my car for a template and depending on how well this goes my close friend has an 08 335i that he would be willing to use for anyone with a 3 series interested. If this seems like something you would be interested in feel free to contact me through text at 262-441-3165 or email at dylanb102091@gmail.com
thanks,
Dylan

I have the HPF exhaust on my 135 so my advice to you and the shop is try to find a way to really tuck in the exhaust especially in the mid pipe area to the Y pipe

Thanks for the heads up, how do you like the exhaust? I had the Berk full race exhaust on with vrsf downpipes and I loved it but I am deciding to go bigger given the change in turbo set up.

I love it the only complaint I have is the extra caution you need driving around cause of the size of the thing. Before this setup I had Bert axle back with N55 mid pipes with AR down pipes

^^ I also have the HPF and have to agree with him. You got to be careful because while my car is stock height my exhaust is what will be scraping on the speed bumps. I love the sound though, great mod for the car over the 3in exhausts. Don't kill me but I modified mine for quad

I have HPF too and love it. The guys at Black Market Racing make a nice 3.5" exhaust as well.

Has anyone looked into oval 3.5" piping? It would really help the clearance issues, and is what I plan on using when I get my exhaust made up.

I have no idea about that, but I am running oem sport suspension and the exhaust doesn't hit anything. You have to have the v-bands aligned properly and you get good clearance.

We make one as well, and there is a group buy taking place on our facebook and in this thread:

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...1225141&page=2

We have a 335 sedan coming in for a preliminary inspection tomorrow to come up with a plan to offer 3.5 for those, and then the coupe will follow.
