So, you are saying we still need to file off a bit of pad material even without ti-shims?
Sorry for the off topic question.
If you aren't using the shims you may be able to get away with it. It'll probably drag a little bit and be tight to get on, but once you finish your bed in procedure you'll be clear. Be aware you brake pedal will grab very hard soon as you touch. Was actually kinda nice having practically zero pedal travel and having the brakes grab. Just as an FYI i got the new dt70 pads on with the ti shims w/o shaving anything off. Not the smartest or recommended thing but I just went out for long drive to file off the pad material. Desperate time and desperate measures lol

Warren at RB didn't think we'd need the titanium shims with RB rotors. I have some rotor temperature test paint, but not the stuff for testing calipers. How do your shims look after using the DTC70s?

Don't know as I haven't pulled them apart lol...been lazy lately. I'm going to keep using the shims just in case. They don't hurt anything.

so it seems the forecast keep changing on an hourly basis. chance of rain is low but the temps will be cold in the low 40's. this is too cold for my r-comps. may have to shoot for the following weeks event with audi.

Any preference in areas? I've always tried to setup as close as I can across from the snack hut/tech reg/og racing store and sometimes end up back in the grassy area. Try to stay on the asphalt this time maybe?
