Wilmington, NC and surrounding

I'm still out here...not sure about 1GrayBulldog - haven't heard from him in a couple months now. Hope everything's ok with him.

I've contacted Brunswick Forest and can get clearance for a meet at the "Villages" (our onsite shopping center) whenever we can get enough respondents. So far, I've noticed quite a few BMWs here in BF and also in the Wilmington area in general. I believe they're still having the 1st-Saturday meets in Wilmington on College Ave. near the Chili's just north of Oleander. If you can make it this next Saturday, we can all park together and come up with a plan for meets/drives, etc.

Does anyone know if the "First Saturday" car meet mentioned above will be taking place due to the storm activity/expected rainfall this weekend?

Did you guys meet in Wilmington yesterday? Can't find the Jacksonville NC bimmers. Will keep looking.

I'm not sure - it was raining pretty steadily, as it had done for the previous few days. It dried out some in the afternoon, but by then the 1st Saturday meet is usually over. Maybe next month it won't be too soggy.

There is another car show scheduled for August 23 in the Villages at Brunswick Forest (south of Wilmington in Leland, off highway 17). It's an evening meet, and is a pretty big event every year about this same time.
