Launch Control
I believe a 2012 135i w/DCT has launch control. While still working on finding a good spot to try it I am reviewing the steps.
1. Sport button ON 2. Gear lever selection Manual 1st gear 3. Traction button pressed Once 4. Left foot on Brake 5. Right foot on throttle down to the Floor 6. When checkered flag appears release the Brake 7. Manual shift around 5K through the 7 gears Have I got the right? |

This.. or you can turn the traction control all the way off and mash the throttle past the resistance point. Allows a bit more wheelspin and a little more fun, also if you mash the brake right after it takes off you can do a nice burnout
