No codes with N55 catless downpipe?
I've just had a catless downpipe installed, so of course I was expecting to see the check engine light soon after and as expected - it did show up after 3 or 4 drives.
What I didn't expect was that my P3 vent gauge isn't showing any codes? So I am assuming that exhaust issues are soft codes or something like that? Is that the same for others with aftermarket downpipes? Not a big issue of course, I'm just curious. |

Do you have a tune that automatically disables/removes the code?

It takes a while. Some people say 150 miles sometimes. Dont worry though, it will show.

I drove with a catless down pipe and no tune for about 3 months. I only got a code 3 or 4 times, I just cleared it with the P3 and it wouldn't come back for a few weeks. Never got a check engine light.
