Brake Boosting?
I have been told many cars can not brake boost. I have tried it in my 135i but the boost doesn't seem to build.. Only the rpms.
This would be most beneficial for 50mph pulls where we are at 3k rpms. Looking for some info on this. Doesn't seem to be discussed much on here. Note: For 6spd manuals.

Brake boosting will put a lot of pressure on your car.
It is not recommended to be used often. Only use it if you are at the track and every ms is important.

I'm aware it's not for the faint of heart I am just asking if our cars are able to do it.

You can, and boost does build (verified via cobb Ap). I do it often, though I'm aware it can lead to major issues. I will admit that it does not work quite the same as it did with my TT Z32, but then tech in that car is prehistoric compared to our cars. Boost shoots up fast so be aware and practice your timing it during your rolls.

I would think drag strip would really start to wear or heat up the clutch? I thought brake boosting was for the roll? Maybe auto it's easier to do it in?
