dflatos, got the 125i cause it was a coupe as opposed to a hatch, thats pretty much it.
brokenvert, are you sure the 128 and 125 produce exactly the same power? i was under the impression that the 128 produced a wee bit more.... |

Nice choice bfi2906 - my wife named our Alpinweiss version Bodo in keeping with the German name theme.
The other easy way to tell the difference between 125/135 from the front is the grille - black vertical bars on the 125, chrome on the 135. |

The only true way is how it was described earlier by the driving lights on a 125 or the air intake/intercooler dams on a 135i.. |

Understandable - sometimes it just can't be let go... My wife used to sell VW cars and they have in their trim options comfortline, trendline and sportline but being new to BMW I've not researched all of the various options (and nomenclature) within the ranges.

The main thing that I was trying to convey was that the 130i is more powerful than both of them. |

As a matter of interest, what options did you get and what did you pay for the 125i?

Sorry for delayed reply - travelling.
Thanks for all the wishes and comments. I really couldn't be happier with this car. I miss driving it when I'm away. I'm in Melbourne at the moment, and I have to say, I'm impressed with the number of 1er's I see here (in the city). In Sydney, other than mine and one other that's in the same suburb, I'd see 2-3 a week, and I drive about an hour each way to work. Here, you see that number each day. Looks like Melbourne folks got onto the 1 earlier than Sydney-siders. |
