Aftermarket Charge Pipe

Hi All

The factory plastic charge pipe is proned to crack after any aftermarket tune.
Which chargepipe is best bang for money.

ETS or ER or BMS or HPF, etc .

There are so many to choose from. Any advice thanks.

I don't think it's really worth worrying about till your at least FBO in mods, or even meth. With just a tune it should be fine.

ER and Stett seem to be the most popular.

Go with ER.

It doesn't hurt to future proof yourself against boost leakages and the like... the oem plastic divertor valves and charge pipe are pretty weak.

I think it depends if you're lucky or not, but chances are a lot higher when you're above 15psi.

Not guaranteed to fail (but its likely), but then again, it's not guaranteed to be 100% secure at less than that kind of boost level either.

Is this an issue (blowing off stock pipes) more specific to the N55 or the N54 as well?

My ER and forge dv still sitting in a box - but went with it because of aluminium construction. Make sure you get one with the extended elbow. A few 1M popped out at stock, but haven't heard the issue apart from the first batch of cars.
