Pretty hard. I would drive it much harder if I didn't have so many points on my licence.
I'm hoping it's true that these cars are designed to take a bit of a beating. |

Can't you take defensive driving to lower your points?

Not at all hard. Can't because of heavy traffic everywhere I live and cops and radars and speed cameras etc. Nice and easy is safe and VERY enjoyable.

I set the computer so it displays the km's until empty all the time... you'd think seeing the km's drop by 35 on a 10 km trip would push me to mend my ways but alas, it is not the case. |

The car is ment to be driven !!! I hate nothing more than people that have sporty cars and never rev past 3000 rpm and behave like they are the biggest pussies. I mean if I would have wanted a car to cruise I would have bought some american piece of shit with a feather soft suspension. nuf said

I took some laps at the Nurburgring rather hard(through Karussel with a tad of oversteer, marvelous) and took it to the track 3 weeks ago to drift/slide around.
Some (wet) bends I take sideways a lot(upway to motorway e.g.), which is why I chose BMW in the first place for the 5th time |

I think I drive it hard...but really its all about perspective..my definition of hard might not be the same as others.
I have driven this car harder then any other car I have ever owned and the response is fantastic. My goal now is to improve my skills so I can push it even more.

I'm not afraid to drive my car as hard (fast?) as needed, but where I live/drive there's so much traffic that it would be crazy to "drive hard," just because and would just be inviting a ticket. I'm looking forward to some mountain and highway driving this holiday season.

Let's just say you wouldn't want to buy it when I'm done beating on it.

You rev your car PAST 3000 rpm (jk) Anyone who does not (after proper break-in) means that the car is below the max torque curve every time yo shift (for manuals) |
