It might have been me. I have a black 08' 135i full tint with VMR V710's. I do make frequent visits to Southie and love driving like a dick in that tunnel. Were you rocking a dark blue 135i? Trying to keep up? LOL. The exhaust is a Hartge quad exhaust with rear diffuser. It looks badass and isn't too obnoxious sounding even considering that I am running full catless.

whatd u pay for that? im seeing nearly $4k prices online after a short phone based google search (obv not best method). Quad exhaust is freaking awesome but I don't think I want to spend more than $2.5k on it including installation and the diffuser.

I didn't pay for it, the kid I bought the car from in NYC had the hartge quad exhaust/diffuser installed along with JB4 and burger DCI on car when I bought it. Which is kind of why I bought it, he took care of a lots of fancy mods, he even had the rear diffuser painted to match rest of the car to make it look seamless.

I would have enjoyed the competition, only the M cars seem to want to play around here. Had some fun with the new twin turbo 650i awhile ago, that thing moves. Also got to play with newer M5 too, those cars are too heavy in the end though, the one will almost always pull ahead when tuned right.

Nope, no decal on windshield, not really my style. I hope to run into you one day on Route 2, I am curious about your low 12's running JB4 thing vs a Cobb pro-tuned E85 car.

yeah i tooled around last week with another boston 1er, went up rte 1 and back down 93...kid had e85 cobb tune/cold air vs. my BMW power pack/cold air/berk exhaust, did several pulls from 3rd, 4th, and 5th gear on 93...0-60 identical, 3rd, 4th, 5th...he had me on the top end of the revv range every time...

needless to say, I need that cobb!

Yeah the Cobb is sick. I don't want to hate on JB4 because lots of people like it, but you can Pro-tune the cobb and get multiple custom maps, based around the mods and specifics of your car. Bren at Brentuning.com is a pretty awesome tuner for us Boston area guys. He has multiple N54 motored BMW's of his own that he is constantly tuning, so I trust him not to blow up my car. He always did my old Subaru right...Anyway The e85 changes the game completely with our cars. The immediately difference in feel and pull is insane.

I was super psyched to find this car setup as nicely as it was. Kid babied it too.
He went Toyota Supra, which I get, but the 1er is smooth, and chicks love it.

yep, i went with BrenTuning. kids the best around in my opinion, especially given his E85 capabilities. He's taking it to the next level before anybody else is.
