I Need Airbags

Hey Guys I recently bought an 09' 135i.
I need the curtain airbags for both sides and the steering wheel airbag.
I might need a Rad support too, don't know yet.

I pay fast on paypal

Thanks,

I got lucky when i built my 09 as there were a bunch of shops tearing cars apart for racing. I expect you will need seat belts and a battery cable also.

I use http://www.car-part.com/ and see everything you need on there but it may cost you more.
I used Husker for the rad support, engine cradle and other factory parts.

Yeah unfortunately Car-part has 1 curtain airbag per side and the seller wants waaaay more than he should be. That's why I turned to the forum.

Can you send me the link to the rad support? I may need one and I can't seem to find the company under google search

Thanks,
I recently removed and detonated my curtain airbags. For liability and legal issues, my shop encouraged me to destroy them instead of selling used.

Have you looked into prices of getting a new set?

Why would you detonate them? Hundreds of shops selling curtain airbags and other airbags every day

It's like flushing money down the toilet

But anyway, yes, the stealership wants crazy $$$$ for them, i rather just get them used at a cheaper price yet with the same functionality

i have seat belts and a ton of electronics if you need that stuff.

destroyed the bags for liability reasons. I.e. if i sold someone a used airbag, they crashed their car and it didnt deploy right - it could be a mess for me. Curtain bags are only $211 each new from the factory, I am sure a used set would only sell for $200, wasnt worth it to me to deal with holding onto, finding a buyer, shipping etc. plus, blowing them up was awesome.

Never call your local dealer for parts, unless they also run one of the online discounters or offer big discounts.

I got sweetheart deals from our local Subaru dealer because of a local car club (20% off everything, just about as good as any online dealer after shipping), but that's a rare special deal. Getbmwparts and ECS Tuning are like 30+% cheaper than my local BMW dealer's part counter. They thought I was nuts when I asked if they could pricematch an N55 midpipe, said it was lower than their cost (was like half MSRP).

How do I purchase the airbags from the factory? The difference in price is about $100 between the dealer vs factory
