I am not sure why so many members here block off the license plate when posting their pics. It is refreshing to see an actual plate. I like it

those are some nice personal plates, the e90 plate and the ledzep plate. How much extra you pay for them?

I think it was $45 for the first year and then $30 extra each year to keep it. In Washington state, the money goes to a wildlife preservation fund.

I've had mine so long I can't remember how much it costs. I trade cars before they expire, so it always gets tossed into the "taxes and tags" numbers. I think it's $25/year, and the proceeds go toward not maintaining the roads.

Don't tell anyone but I take it through a car wash- I know, I feel really bad about it but living in a condo requires some compromises.

They get us pretty good in RI... $30 a year, $60 a year for vanity, (not that bad so far...) and any time the state needs revenue, they'll design a new plate and make it mandatory that everyone buy the new plates (or get a ticket for using the old plates).
