Wheels arrived, tires arrived, on car now with pics!

I am so excited, the matte anthracite looks amazing in person. I can't wait to see them on my Sydney Blue 120i!

Thanks to Jason@Euro-Division for shipping them so quickly. I ordered them on Saturday, and they arrived today. Melbourne to the Gold Coast.

Wheel stats: 18x8.5 front 18x19.5 rear, GTC-CX CSL replicas.

These are actually much lighter than I expected. I am not sure about the actual weight, but I had3 piece iForged wheels on my M3 that were much heavier!

Tyres are on their way from the USA, thanks to Tirerack. I tried to find cheap tyres here, but these shipped were still at least $500 cheaper than buying in OZ.

I don't know if General is available in OZ either, they own Continental and share technology. I don't know if I'd put them on an M, but they should be great for the 120i. Long life, great traction, and comfortable. People compare them very closely with the ContiSport DWS, and they rate higher than most tyres twice the price http://tires.tirerack.com/tires/General%20G-max%20As-03 . I ordered and they are tracking to arrive 12 April:

Where in the Gold Coast (near Broadbeach) can I get these balanced and installed for a reasonable price (<$100)?

I saw a few threads citing disgruntled local shops pissed about importing tyres....

If they don't want to install it for you ask somewhere else...

Not sure how things are like on the GC but in Syd you can usually get 4 mounted for $50-60 cash

RE 225 - That is what Jason recommended, and it is just the right size.

@ansch - good idea, kmart is close by. Thanks!

And I just paid $50 at bob jane, to fit and balance all four tyres. Exact the same specs as you too.

You will love it! I had the matte black and my car is sparkling graphite. Just be careful next to curbs and gutters to not scratch them.

Just for reference for tyres, I got kumho KU39 front 225/40 rear 255/35 for one grand fitted.

Just watch them when they are fitting your tyres, make sure they take care of your wheels

Thanks Dec,

I love them too... Just wish they were a slightly more agressive offset...
