Winter Wheels/Tires Question - New 135i with Performance Suspension

Hey Guys -

I just purchased a 2012 M Sport 135i that came with BMW Performance parts installed (performance suspension, exhaust, and power kit).

The car has the stock M sport wheels and tires on it now, but I'm looking to put winter wheels/tires on the car since it's way to dangerous to drive on this summer run-flats during the winter.

My question is, given the added drop in the BMW performance suspension over even the M sport suspension, what size wheels and tires can I fit on the car? Also which wheels will be compatible with the large brakes (I think these are stock M sport brakes with "BMW" on them)?

For winter I'm thinking MSW Type 85 17" wheels all around with 225/45/17 tires.

And in the summer I'd like to put 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 tires on the stock M sport wheels.

Will those two wheel tire setups work given the slightly lowered stance over sport?

Thanks
Mike
