Put on some 17's and snows, I'm still lovin mine! RWD with snows is better than AWD and all-seasons IMO. Just need more trips to the touchless car wash at BP to get off all that salt and slush before it cakes on.

^^^^ Exactly, these cars are hardly worth hiding in the winter, put on some snows and enjoy the car!

Yeah slap on some winters and have fun. But I must say that the 528xi I was driving was nice to have in the snow. It would not lose traction, that thing had some grip

I prefer my 1er to my A3 or R32 in the snow...so much more fun with RWD!

Heck, I've got Conti DWS (All seasons) and deep unplowed snow and or hills hasn't caused me anything more than some slow starts off the line. Never understood why people garage their cars. (unless you can afford a dedicated winter car). Put some decent tires on it and drive it!

The escalade or the jiggly boobs? Cause I'll take jiggly boobs for the winter over an escalade anytime.

+1 although I think that's a GMC Yukon or something......funny commute today, I saw some guy driving a Hummer2 with 26" wheels/summers trying to pull away from the curb this morning on Western Avenue.....he couldn't!......bling dong!

My 135i had no problems at all in the snow.

You are right... I saw giant-ass car and chrome wheels and I just immediately thought escalade. And no offense to the escalade owner, I'd roll one if I could.

Side note on traction: I drove my wife to work this morning... the LM60s are SO good in the snow/slush, I can't even believe it. I found myself driving into unplowed areas at stoplights just to see if it would get stuck. The tire would rotate maybe 1/2 a revolution and it would hook up immediately and I would crawl out.

The difference between these tires and all-seasons is literally like going from 2wd to 4wd, its that huge.

The dude that's rolling the x5 is going to be pissed when he finds a pile of snow in his trunk.. LOL

I hear ya though man. Once I get a garage, I'll probably buy a second vehicle so that I have something to drive the the next time my HPFP fails. It will most like be 4wd....

That's a picture from driver training, the three guys in the snow are trying to hold the car back, not push it!
