What color is your car? That can make the difference on how to make the contrast work well.
If you have a black car then definitely going with a flat/matte black. However, on other colors a gloss black can really make the paint on both the car and wheels pop |

Gloss black on black will be monotone, definitely matte black if you must, bit here's another idea, what about matte grey, like a matte version of space grey? Could look incredible!

I dunno technically, all the gunmetal wheels I see look to have a different depth than SGM paint, which is why I specified.

If the wheel was actually painted like a gloss sgm that could potentially turn out well.
But, to the OP's original question, if I had to choose between the gloss and flat it would be flat all day on black. |

Have you considered maybe just googling black on black cars? Not specifically a 135... You can definitely find all types of black wheels on black cars on googling.
I also tried googling black on black 135 and haven't come up with anything solid yet. If I do I'll post up comparisons |

Just get gloss, you seem convinced already - you don't need our approval. If you get gloss be sure to post pics, and if doesn't look good; I'll be nice about it.
