AFE POWER STAGE 2 SI PRO 5R INTAKE installed

Took down my Injen intake for a more streamlined look and slightly more refined noise.
Good product, fits well, install is easy, price is reasonable
pic of the result attached
P.S. the Injen is now for sale - n52 only

How you like it instead of the OEM Euro Box, I see yours is a 125i and I have a 130i but all I read is the OEM box is best. I am attracted to this still though for the added nose when pushing the car

I'm not sure what you mean by the OEM Euro box, if you're talking about the Performance intake well I've had it and its just as good but cost is 3x
If you're talking about stock intake then this looks better and flows better and makes a more throaty sound similar to the Performance intake. In terms of added killer bees its basically bugger all

Engine bay certainly looks the business. I really like it. You got the car tuned to 130i specs?

You should look at picking up the M3 strut brace. I have it, looks a million bucks, is lighter, helps prevent strut tower mushrooming and allows for the tops of the shocks to be easily accessed.

Hey Pete, I have the Performance CF strut brace as well, its not in the pick because I had to take it off to install the intake, but its on other pictures in my profile
I would love to tune it to 130i specs but so far not aware of any place in Melbourne that can do it?!

Looks great!
Pic of filter/under the lid?

OEM air filter flows pretty well already (with our Euro spec airbox unlike US cars)

This is the actual filter element - it is pretty massive, even larger than the Injen filter and flatter.
So far so good - no codes or errors and the sound is nice. Power delivery hasn't been affected and there is no resonance or vibration at any revs.
