Quite honestly I don't want to see any other 135's around.

Barons BMW at Hindhead has an interesting AW 125i in the showroom kitted out with BMW Performance bits. Had the wheels, silver stripes, carbon rear spoiler, skirts with air ducts (not sure about those, bit aftermarket looking).

It also had a colour-coded AW rear diffuser, but with the middle bit left grey. Looked a bit dodgy IMO. Colour match was off, and just made it look like an ES or SE.
Well I've never seen a 1er coupe on the road, apart from the one I drove; so I'd say they're pretty rare. Although, it could equally be argued that I should get out more

Man that is bad luck!

I've seen only two 135s and one 128 in 4000+ miles. I also like being rare - in fact i love it - but it's a mixed bag. The last car I had was so common it was easy getting info, parts, mods etc on my doorstep. I am not confident I know enough about cars in general to do much without advice. Still, got this place!

As i left work and joined the duel carageway at a roundabout, a silver 135i went across, i pulled out just after it had passed and caught up, waved and i think i scared the woman driving a bit!

She really didnt seem bothered!:iono: thats no fun at all. They shouldnt be aloud to buy one unless they are an addict!

I've seen 4 or 5 (coupes and verts - in Graphite, Black, Silver and Sedona Red) around London in the last 2 months. Got a couple of suprised looks from the drivers but no waves or anything.

Saw the Sedona red coupe in the Finchley area earlier this week. Any chance that was you SnakeDoc?

ahhit was probably not you then.. however with coopers just up the road and vines just down the road, i should realistically see quite a few.. but i don't!

I'm in the States in the New York area but was in London this week and saw a red 135 (i believe) parked in the St. James area. It was debadged and had a few bullet hole stickers on it. Love the wheels you guys get out there.

Bulet hole stickers!! Thats just wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe on some chav boy racer Corsa with a constant speed variable noise engine but if a 1'er coupe owner has done that god forgive them.

scotty it yours blue? 1 Blue m-sport flew past me saturday late am few junction further down than sandbach on the M6. Only seen others at dealers so far other than that.

Did a long run to the south coast from Warrington this weekend - loved the car... got really annoyed with a few other bimmer dirvers though who blocked me in on the motorway and forced me to brake as they had slowed down whilst overtaking to have a good look!

What MPG you getting now? - Im only on 800 miles and its already averaging 48mpg.

K30, mine is Black and I get it today so im afraid it was not me.

I have not seen Blue one yet in the flesh.

48mpg is good, and it should improve as you do more miles according to other posts I have read.

for the first time today i was in a garage getting diesel near Reigate, when another 1er pulled in.. a nice spotless black one (embarrassed me a bit as mine was dirty) gave him a little nod, but refrained from chatting as i didnt want to appear a weirdo :roundel::roundel:

it was actually quite funny, as i had already clocked a guy in a range rover point out my car to his mrs and kids in the car and excitedly chat away about it.. when the other pulled in as well he jumped up and down looked as if he was going to have a heart attack!!

to be honest i have had many cars over the years that in my opinion were sort of head turners from modified escort turbo's to clio 16v's blah blah... but i have never had as many visuals in all of those added up together that i have had in 5 months of owning a 1 coupe..

it is truly odd!

My fav game at the moment when parked up is to start the engine just as someone walks behind you - that gets their head turning!
And at a recent wedding I went to, one of the guests asked to have a look under the bonnet - a few minutes later there must have been 10 people all having a good look!
Still not seen any Notts though

pity diesels still sound like diesels! Changed, I'm sure you find as I do that the engine is really quiet when you're in the car...

Garage List
Haven't seen a single coupe in Belgium yet although there are a few convertibles floating around now. Certainly none in sedona red as everyone here buy's grey cars. Hopefully mine will be the only red one in Belgium
