Pretty sure the TQ numbers are to the crank and not the wheels, and HP numbers are RWHP.
bmw's published numbers for the 325i are 215 hp and 180 lb-ft of torque. from what i understand, published numbers are from the crank.

i can understand the hp numbers from the dyno sheet posted, but those torque numbers seem to make no sense at all.

Interested in the price of the intake - if GB put me down as well. I noticed the LDS temple...and particular reason? You LDS or just liked the backdrop? Either way, great pic and props on the car. Waiting for info on the GB and price.

I would imagine the gains on a 330i from any intake would be slightly lower than that of the 325i. Same size motor, just tweaked a bit more. Harder to pull HP out of the 330. Am I correct in this assumption?

This intake looks like a replica of the Fujita. I guess there is only so much you can do with that space in the engine compartment.

I'd be interested to see dyno runs of a 325 and 330 with identical intake.

Yes it looks identical to the fujita but seems to have a deeper sound. I have ordered one to test both out (I already have the Fujita) and will take clips of both to compare - don't worry, i'll post them up. Will sell the one I like less.

I sent the paypal for a fujita around an hour before this thread started. Interested to see how they stack up.

I personally have not seen the Fujita, so I can not comment on it, however I will tell you that the Britalman Intake uses a S&B filter which is one of the highest quality filters with the best flow on the market. If anyone would like to submit a filter, we can have it tested vs. the Britalman.

Also is anyone interested in a Chrome, real chrome intake pipe? Attached is a picture on the 6 series. Cost is an additional $50.

im not here to shit on your group buy but if you are claiming this intake gives you 67 ft lbs of tq youre on crack. that dyno is bullshit. if you want it because it makes a cool whooshing sound then fine but dont represent numbers that just arent even close to being possible

Did you get pictures of the intake with the heatshield yet?
Don't know which one to get Fujita or yours
What ever happened with the video or sound clips?

I'm just signing up to hear the answer to the mystery of the torque!

Is it possible that 3.0 325i's (which should have more torque) actually have higher #s than bmw claims stock?

I've heard of e39 M5's have higher #s stock than spec.

But still, those #s are at the wheels. Which is still WAY off base.

You can see pics of the heat shield on the first page. Sorry I don’t have a sound clip.
