Do you really think your going to get 82K for a 2008 model?

I would think its over market value at the moment. I sold my 08 / 135i M Sport vert 18 months ago, with only 29k for $69K

PPK now installed, straight forward install no dramas.
Aggressive exhaust note, and slightly more torque. Throttle response only slightly better, so I'm going to install a sprint booster that's been sitting in my draw. Friggin lovely car, I think I have the Bavarian Bug

Fly, I hope your PPK saga is now sorted, having had some driving time, there is a subtle burble upon deceleration. In fact its so subtle I first mistaken it for a rattle.

My car with PPK give a lot of exhaust popping sound. Pretty much whenever I lift off the throttle at any speed - even driving around the carpark.

so the PPK matter hasn't been finalised yet. still waiting to hear what day the car will be going in to have it reflashed. of course Easter got in the way.
what i have found with the car, now having clocked up 14000kms, is that it has gotten louder the more ks its done. exhaust and engine, especially that glorious turbo wastegate blowoff sound. that is a lot louder. many moons ago, a mate of mine bought a brand new V8 VN commodore. by 20000kms, that thing sounded like a nascar. some cars just get better the further they go. |

Likewise, I wasn't quite sure what to make of it, My attention was drawn mostly to the glorious sound when accelerating

I've got mixed feelings about old Holdens. However the 308ci with a decent dual exhaust had a nice sound back in the day - Think Monaro GTS and Torana SL/R 5000. You probably should close your eyes and listen!

Yesterday, car went into BMW.
and........ wait for it................... success. it's now a burbling PPK equipped machine. turns out, the version of the engine management software and the PPK have 'known' issues. just BMW Aus didn't know back in August when it was originally done. so, upgraded the software, reapplied the PPK, and all fixed. now, with windows up and stab the throttle, burble is clearly heard. before, there was no noise. |

All considered, it didn't seem like an easy win. I thought it was bad when the dealer had my car for 4 days installing the PPK, but at least it worked when I got it back. I reckon they owe you a very polite apology at the least.
