Question I live in New York and don't want my suspension rusting away

My buddy has a shop and can get me coilovers for cheap he can get me kw ST d2 etc.. He said I should just run the ST cause there dirt cheap and are identical to the kw v1s with out being made with stainless steel, is anyone driving on ST coilovers in the east any story's?will they rust that fast? Should I just save the extra money for kws?

For anyone who wants to run coilovers on a DD car that sees the winter, stainless or not, I recommend that during the winter you regularly take the wheels off, clean the suspension and lubricate it. It's very easy for the locking collars to seize up and corrode with all of the snow, water and salt blasting away at the suspension during the winter time. Save up for the KW, you'll be glad you did. I can't stress enough how important it is to take care of the suspension if you easily want to be able to adjust the ride height when you want and generally make it easier for yourself working on the car.
