How did you get the cup holder w/out the navigation unit (and corresponding idrive knob)? Did you retrofit? I opted for no nav as well, and don't have the cupholder (thankfully). Just curious,...

You can buy the cup holder separately from any parts dealer. Its been available for years.

Unfortunately, the dealer did it before I got the car. In any event, the San Francisco Parking Police are constantly writing tickets for no front license plate. I have received two in the past 12 months on one of my other cars.

Hey, you got my car, and then you parked it just down the street. I think I saw that one from Modesto but got there too late. I ended up with a loaded AW, also in Pac Heights.

It's nice to know there is another on in the area- plausible deniability and all that.

You see them listed for that a lot. But honestly they never sell for that much. Auctions are always ending on eBay with zero bids.

+1

I have purchased a car that way.

This car looks very nice. Bump for a local seller.

True about eBay. Interested if there are any forum members that are driving a used 1M they purchased for $60k+. I just never see any of the for sale threads with high prices say...sold. But if that is what they actually sell for, more power to the owners.

Yes, good to have more than one in the area so they can't pinpoint the guilty party. Now if they only hadn't put that front license plate on it, then I would could avoid those traffic cameras...

I have a AW 1M that I drive to work in SF everyday. I know its tempting to tuck it away but I just love to drive it as much as I can. Hopefully see you in the hood one of these days.

Ditto. My wife drives hers everyday to work. She says it gives her something to look forward to after a hectic day in the office.
