Mine is just called 128i, 128, BMW or the blue race car according to my little cousins!
My parent's is called Minnie, because the 1er is small and they love Disney.

Usually my cars are male, but as I painstakingly washed/waxed/detailed the car I was struck by how many curves the car has, so I decided she is definitely a female. I named her Turbo. Not very original, I know.
My last car was a WRX and his name was WREXY, as in WREXY and I know it. |

From a Cosby show episode where Wallace Shawn was having a mid life crisis and purchased some high-end sports car called a Vesuvia. He relized it was a bad decision and had to return it by a certain time, and someone reminded him, "You better go, you've got to get the car back." And he replied, "You forget!--I'll be DRIVING the Vesuvia!!" That name has always been stuck in my head. Although the 135i isn't necessarily high-end. She sure is quick. |

Why does this topic constantly come up. It's a car. A thing. Period. In our family and friends it's either the red car or the black car or some thing like the BMW or the PORSCHE.
We don't say "hey today I'm driving Fritz and you drive Hans" or in the case of the truck "hey today i'll drive Bubba". |
