Anyone have pictures of High-Gloss Black Kidney Grill & Standard Grill?

I have looked at pictures of the High Gloss Black Kidney Grills and the normal Grills on BMW's website and i cant for the life of me figure out the difference...

Anyone have comparison pictures?

Spanks!

I like the look of black slats in chrome surrounds (like the 128i). I may paint the innards of mine when I get them. I'm not a fan of the all black grilles on JB

I used the BMW performance centers on mine and like the look A LOT more than stock:

I just do NOT like the all chrome grills at all... MAYBE without shadowline trim, but definitely not with it.

If you are going to do the black grills, I would go with the matte black for a bit of contrast. I am not a huge fan of the gloss black.

I agree on a white car, but I would think that on a black car the matte would stand out too much. I mean...what else on the front/sides of the car is going to match the matte?

jtsherri, great pics. This is the look that I want as well. Did you have to order the BMW performance entire grille and then swap out the slats, or did you order the slats seperately?

Gotta buy the entire set of grills; however, I gave my friend the gloss black surrounds and he installed them to opposite of mine on his Alpine White 135i (so black surrounds + chrome slats) and it looks very nice as well...

I'm sure if you took a picture of this combo and did a For Sale thread you could get someone to bite on buying the set for nearly half of what you pay for the grills...
