Spacers Issue Need Help

Well, im really confused,

my 1m is mounted with a square set up 18x9.5 et22 te37sl

so obviously the rear will not be as out as the front,
so i decided to get some spacers
10mm Rogue engineering (window) spacers for bmw
its look and its quality is compromising, but when its all mounted, the wheels is kind of shaking and turns out that the hub from rogue did not fit the te37sl

now i'm looking for a replacement, which one will fit the 1m's hub perfectly and my wheels perfectly..
i'm in fear of purchasing another product that will end in disppointments.

luckily because the shop that i bought is a good friend of mine, and such a nice person they let me trade it in, which is great.

ANYONE here run on square set up without spacers, does it really gives you that much understeer, and will spacers help you to solve that problem?

i'm looking at H&R 12mm ?

What do you guys think are the best?
all opinions and thoughts welcome

thanks,

10mm is not proper fitment for BMW

12mm or larger is the only size that will for the hub

Check turner motoraports for good quality spacers and explanations and pictures on why 10mm is not a proper fitment

I'm not a 1M owner but 135i, but I recently got 10mm spacers both front and rear from H&R and they have no wobbling. Btw I had RS Technik spacers before (5mm) and they wobbled like hell.

My wheels are VR G25 which as you may know is made by the same Rays as TE37SL.

To make sure I have enough threads, I changed my lug nuts to stud conversion kits from Macht Schnell.

Make sure you are going hub centric with your spacers and your wheels match the hubs right.

It is difficult to match spacers with aftermarket wheels.

The type hub on the spacer will have to match what is on the wheel. Also, ANY corrosion on the car's hub can cause issues with the spacers fitting properly. The hub needs to be cleaned thoroughly before a spacer is installed to avoid any vibrations.

H&R released a different part number specific to the 1M, so if you are looking at a spacer that shows several BMW models, it may not be a perfect fit. The outer diameter of the spacer itself is slightly larger on the 1M, all the other measurements are the same.

These are available in 10mm, 12mm, and 15mm.

Edit: Also, as noted above, longer lug bolts are recommended as well.

Nice wheels, i think i'll go with 12mm to balance the front tires looks.

Yes, thank you very much sir,

The M3 GTS uses 5mm spacers along with a standard Style 359M wheel. How do they achieve this if a 12mm minimum thickness is needed?

I have a pair of the OEM GTS spacers, but they remain uninstalled until I can get clarity on this issue.

my workshop said that since my hub is 13mm

the only spacers i can use are 5-8mm and they have to be flat.

Good info here.
I think the 135i hub is usually 11m so a 10mm spacer can't be hubcentric, YMMV.
I personally wouldn't go bigger than a 5mm slip on as you won't be leaving much of the hub lip for the wheel.
