Wow, how many different models are they going to make?

X1, X3, X4, X5, X6...
1 Series (coupe, convertable, 1M)
3 Series (coupe, sedan, convertable, M3: coupe, sedan, convertable)
4 Series (coupe, sedan, ??)
5 Series (sedan, cross-over?, M5)
6 Series (coupe, convertable, grande coupe, M6: coupe, convertable)
7 series (sedan)
Z4 (coupe, convertable)

Did I miss anything ??

I don't think you read the whole article.

"The 4 Series is the coupe variant to the current F30 3 Series sedan. There will no longer be a "3 Series Coupe" model. It should be positioned and priced in lineup just as the 6 Series Coupe is positioned in the 5/6 Series lineup."

Also I thought the 1 series was going to become the 2 series coupe? Or that may have Been talk not sure. They need to just keep it simple Iike in the 90s when it was 3-5-7-z and m models. I miss that. And the days when you used to go to a dealer and it was tough to find an automatic 3 series on a lot. Now days you are lucky to find 1 6 speed that's not a special order. And the se for a 1er if they even have any. Agh sorry just venting a bit. Been looking around lately. Back on topic that 4 series looks pretty sick.

Does that mean the end of the M3 2door ? Sure sounds like it. M4 sounds like a highway and not a performance car.

I've also read in press that the 1 series coupe will be redesigned and redesignated 2 Series. If they do come out with a 2-series coupe, seems like a good reason to raise the price over when it was called 1-series coupe, yes? Even if it ends up being substantially the same vehicle - only with turbo 4 and electric steering assist.
